Education and Training
- CMHC provides over 15,000 hours of annual training
to staff.
- In addition, medical education efforts now include
rotations for child psychiatry (UConn Health Center) and
forensic psychiatry (Yale University).
- Physician assistant internships are now supported with
Quinnipiac University.
- Psychology pre-doctoral internships are supported with
the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology and
post-doctoral internships with the University of Hartford.
- Social work internships are supported with UConn,
American International College, University of New Haven and
St. Joseph College.
- Nursing internships are supported with UConn, Yale
University, St. Joseph College and Quinnipiac University.
